I know that the iPod battery gets a memory from when you charge it the first time, and mine has gotten only a four hour memory, so that it only last a fraction of the real time, which is something like 18 or 32 hours, so I NEED someone to tell me if I can reset the battery on my iPod touch. (the new one)

I’m looking for the best brand (if it even makes a difference) replacement battery for my 30g video ipod. Also where to purchase this battery will be helpful as well. I have checked on ebay and they sell ipod batteries for a pretty good price. But before I buy I wondered if there might be a particular type of brand and I want the best. So please let me know. Much Thanks to all of you!!!

My iPod is 120GB and I have turned off the backlight and I always keep the volume reasonably low, but my battery always runs out very quickly, even when I’m just listening to music. The battery is supposed to last for 36 hours of playback and it barely lasts 5.
Is there anything I can do to help it?

So i got my iPod touch last week, spent an extra .99 and upgraded to Version 2.1
Now as i was reading, it said it has speakers you can hear the music from if you want to show a friend or something, without having to use headphones.
How can i make it do that?

I will be going on a 10 hour road trip on Friday, and don’t have a car charger. I will be bringing my iPod along, but would like to know what way drains the iPod battery faster?
-Keeping music on shuffle, WITHOUT skipping.
-OR picking which songs I want to listen to from the menu.
And how long do you think it will last? Thanks!

There are so many to choose from. I’m looking for something that gets a good loud sound and is portable. I’m willing to spent around 0 but would pay a little more for better quality…
