Well, one way or another, my iPod battery was full charged right before I went to bed, so I unplugged it from my PC and put it on the desk. Apparently it did not turn off by itself like it should and the next day, it was out of battery again. Just now, I connected the iPod via USB to my PC, and the screen turned black with the Apple logo on it. But that’s just it; nothing else. My computer did not detect it either. Anything I can do?

Hello, I am planning to make…(click on the link)
http://www.chrisdiclerico.com/2004/10/24/ipod-altoids-battery-pack-v2 on that site it shows you how to make a battery charger in an altoid tin.
1. Is possible to make it with USB instead of Firewire (so i could charge phones and other USB things)?
2. is it safe to my iPod and mainly I(ex. not to powerful for the ipod) (both USB (if posible) and Firewire)?
3. Also do you think it will it will work and power it long?
4. If possible to make one with USB, do you know where to get some instructions?
5. Last thing, is it better (meaning, safer, longer lasting) http://www.aarondunlap.com/blog/1130885615 than this one
Please tell me any extra info on how to make one!!
Thanks
P.S. This website, http://www.diylive.net/index.php/2005/12/03/ten-uses-for-the-altoids-tin-with-an-ipod/ has many things to do with an altoids tin and an iPod.

Could my iPod be solar charging? I have a dark purple case. Could the case be absorbing solar energy into my battery?
When my iPod battery was 15%, I looked back in about 2 hours and it was 20%.
Can sormbody explain this?

How do you put you your Ipod in the speakers’ charger? I’m new to Ipods.

I have tons of music so I keep my library on my hardrive at home, however I need tunes at work so I read it off my Ipod.
Since it is plugged in all day, will it ruin my battery ? I’ve heard that keeping my computer plugged in all day is bad for the batteries longevity.
thanks
